Take a look at some things I've been working on recently...

An easier way to find a therapist

Client project:
Anxious as Anything
Team Project / Client / App
Timeframe
Three week sprint from April-May 2022.

Brief

I was part of a team of four that designed an app for a mental health start-up client. The primary function of this app was to match users with therapists in a non-clinical and non-arduous fashion.

Process
The sprint involved:
• Competitor research
• 11 user interviews
• A design studio with the client and team
• Three rounds of prototype usability testing (total of 12 testers)

Result
The end result was a prototype for the user journey on a brand new mental health app, from landing screen to matching with a therapist.

Meditation app feature Integration

Conceptual client sprint:
Balance app
Team Project / Conceptual / App
Timeframe
Two week sprint from March-April 2022.

Brief

I completed this project following a conceptual brief as part of a team of four. We were tasked with understanding and combatting pain points that stopped meditators building long-term habits, and exploring the integration of an EEG headband as a new app feature.

Process
The sprint involved:
• Competitor and comparator research
• A survey with 26 responses
• Six user interviews
• 39 usability tests

Result
The result was a high-fidelity clickable prototype that delivered a solution to integrating wearable technology, and also how to present complex tracking and brainwave data to users.

E-Commerce platform design

Web concept:
Blossom Garden Centre
Solo Project / Conceptual / Web
Timeframe
Two week sprint from February-March 2022.

I followed a conceptual brief for a gardening store named ‘Blossom’ to improve the E-commerce function of their website.

Process
This sprint included:
• Competitor research including task and feature analysis
• 24 user survey responses
• Six user interviews
• A remote hybrid card sorting exercise with ten users

I had the opportunity to take on a conceptual brief to redesign the website of grant-giving organisation: ‘The Music Therapy Charity’.

Process
This sprint included:
• A brand and website deep-dive
• Competitor and sector research
• Application of design principles and heuristics
• A design system for the brand
